Virgo stood between

an automaton army

and Archer, their prey.

Eyeing the airborne harpies,

she spotted four gold charmers.

Observing the fight,

a dissonant song echoed

over the mountain.

Virgo said, "If I stop them,

we'll control the battlefield."

She hurled her bronze beam

calling the wind to its aid,

but the beam was caught

by one of the four charmers.

Then, two scales grew from the beam.
