Leo tailed the wolf,
following a breadcrumb trail
leading to Cancer.
The beetle could not break free
from the grip of the crab's claws.

Polly's stellar winds
put out the deck's lantern fire—
the garden went dark.
The lanterns regained their light
with blue flames from Castor's art.

A water snake slid
through the garden, down below
with a full belly.
Cancer's claws were left empty.
Lupus bled from a snake bite.
