"Can you teach me medicine?"

On the outer deck,

they breathe air from Virgo's arts

while Argo sails the sun’s path.

Chiron said to her,

"Three immortal guardians

formed the elements."

Polly asked him, "They taught you?"

Chiron answered, "Yes. I learned

how to channel each

art the guardians forged. Then,

centaurs taught humans."

Polly said, "If medicine

is an art, I’d like to learn."
