“It’s no fool’s errand,”
the king answered their critiques,
“but still you all doubt.”

“Humor us, your majesty,”
they said, “help us understand.”

“Andromeda will,”
the king said, ceding the floor.
The princess began,

“Surely the council has heard
the truth of the golden age.”
