Chapter 35: "Mesarthim"
"The sunniest ram,"
Andromeda writes, "is kind
even to the wolf."
She thought it through while gazing
at dimmed stars in the spring sky.
"Did I make it up?"
Andromeda asked herself,
"Can my friends hear me?"
Tracing the patterns she knew,
a line of stars formed the ram.
"No, I know you're there,"
she said, "the stars cannot lie!"
She watched till morning.
The king knew his daughter well,
and rebuked his nosy peers.
