Andromeda heard footsteps
shake the upstairs floor.

The princess told the merchant,
“Make them think I’m your hostage.”

The robbers returned
with a multitude of hands
to steal centaur gold.

Starting down the steps,
they were met by the merchant.

The robbers panicked,
“Now don't be hasty old man,
remember her name!”

“Your name?” the merchant whispered.
“Andromeda,” she answered.
